Winter in Ventura

Seventy-five degrees today. Surfers, bikinis, crystal light dancing on the water. Winter in southern California is pretty tough to take, sometimes.

The news sucks this week...again.

What kind of a world do we live in when a seven-year-old isn't safe to walk home from school? Are you paying attention in your neighborhood?

Why are my tax dollars going to bail-out the auto industry? Any one can see that they have been over-producing for decades! What do they do with all the unsold inventory?

I've just been notified by the Pirate Police that one of my photo-montage videos has been removed from YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/timhanson) due to a violation of terms use. Bummer. It was a series of photographs taken about 15 minutes apart as I drove from Sacramento to Ventura put to the song, "Rockin' Down The Highway" by the Doobie Brothers. The drive is long and boring, but the song kicks! Hope you enjoyed it while it was up.

A pretty girl smiled at me in the market tonight. I have a cold and I feel like hell. I smiled back.
